Will a 4 bolt block from a caprice work in my 95 Camaro?

I believe that it is the same engine found in Z28's. Should work fine.

A caprice motor should be a 2 bolt but GM has done strange things. It also comes with cast heads, not alu... If I recall the motor is rated for 260ish instead of the 280ish that would be found in a camaro. Heads are swapable if you have a set, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Heads should swap...but 4 bolts in a caprice??? I do believe they were 2 bolts unless GM just screwed up on a few which is entirely possible.

It is a 4 bolt. So I can use heads off my current 95 Z? Is there no other differences?

There is a differnce in the heads but your Z28 heads will bolt right up.

He's exactly right there is a difference in the heads and how they'll perform but they will bolt right up.

Again, I'd like you to offer evidence/proof, which I trust you have. This isn't just more internet hearsay?
