Sorry to bring up an old thread....I have thought about getting a set of these, but the install issues look like they really suck. Right now I have the LT4 composite valve covers, and they look great. But I thought about moving up. Those really look nice in the pics.

I do have the CC Pro Mag rockers, and I don't want any issues. Anyone put these on, and have a perfect install? Or does this happen w/ every set? I also have a Powermaster chrome alternator, and would hate to have it not fit correctly. Just don't know...

Yep, I got the promags too. So did someone mention that they just sent theirs off to Canton and they were able to fix the problem areas? I thought I read that somewhere in the thread.

Did they fix the passenger side valve cover only? Or was the driver side sent out as well to clearance the power steering tube? Also, how much did they charge?

1)They fixed the passenger side cover and there were no issues with driver's side.

2) The work was under warrenty so there wasn't a charge.

3) I mounted the power steering pump on the accessory bracket and slipped a small pipe over the power steering tube and rotated it so that it would clear the valve cover.

I'll post pics once I install the cover.
