Can't identify these three harness connectors
Can't identify these three harness connectors
I have 3 connections which I have recently discovered were just hanging loose from my 96 Z28 Camaro. Since It has been having some issues, I thought I would start here to see if any of these had anything to do with it. Links to the pictures of the plugs are below:

I have tried identifying these on Shoebox's website, but had no luck. The image of the harness that he has posted on his site is of a 95, so I would imagine that is why I am not able to identify them from his site. I have also tried looking for a diagram of the wiring harness from a 96, but had no luck. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Re: Can't identify these three harness connectors
The big connector could be for the cruise control module. The other two perhaps related to your AIR pump. If you have none of those things, it would probably make sense.
Re: Can't identify these three harness connectors
Ok, you are probably right about the AIR pump. There have been a lot of heavy modifications done to the car, so I can imagine that it was removed. However, all 3 of those wouldn't be for the AIR pump would they? The ABS comment concerns me, because my ABS INOP light has been on. This is one of the issues that I have been looking into. I will have to check the ABS pump to see if it is missing any connections. The car does have cruise control, so I will have to see if it has a missing connector as well. I will post back with my findings.
Re: Can't identify these three harness connectors
The red one goes to a solenoid, on the drivers side, mounted to the air pump tube. Can't remember, for the life of me, the name of it. I'll look it up when I get home.

Re: Can't identify these three harness connectors
I think Shoebox is right on the large one(cruse control). The ABS module connector has much thicker wires and does not have an integrated red lock with it(ABS connector has a whitish square(kinda) connector lock that is not locked to the harness....can be easily lost...).
Here is the ABS one...single row connector right of chain...

...and that may be the big one in Kevin's picture by the ABS module bracket....up from ABS connector just barely visible.
I'm having trouble ID'ing the one I said I'd look up, but I'm still looking(don't see it in my factory electrical manual). I do feel it is AIR pump related.

Going through some of my old ref pictures....
ABS connector and lock....

Here is that solenoid I was talking about....If you look to the left of the solenoid below, see the 90* elbow coming off the AIR injection hose? That small hose leads to the solenoid. So it is AIR related somehow.

Re: Can't identify these three harness connectors
The pigtail with the red interlock is part of the AIR pump recall components.
