yea.. sometimes you can be unlucky, like me, and bump into your mirror the wrong way and the glass just pops out! <- this happened once before

If you turn the mirror way to the side, you can kinda see the back. The glass and holder snap off the swiveling mount. It may be hard to get your fingers in there to make it come off.

$60.00. I replaced my drivers side glass 2 months ago. I also got it from the most expensive rip off artist dealer in the world, so your results may vary.

Huh? I fail to see how replacing a piece of glass for looks would quench your thirst as an appearance mod.

I bought replacement mirrors off ebay.. 15 bucks plus shipping...

most places will cut both mirrors for 25 bucks or so and install them both for 20 bucks..

Im going to let them do it cuz i dont know how to pull the mirror out.. im guessing hit it with a torch to loosen the glue in the back...?? Those 3 bolts that hold it to the housing do not actually get your mirror lense out.

:blah:

Well, my Z is a complete show car. I compete in National events.
It is a 95, and has the original glass, w/ the over time scrathes, wear, ect. It would look nice to have new, clean pieces in there.

Not for an appearance mod, just for a clean, newer look. I don't over look ANY detail.

That is a good idea. I didn't want to mess anything up!
