Can you open up the exhaust side of head to match 1470 gaskets?

Just wht the title says

I'm having my heads ported, and he wants to know which exhust gasket I am going to use. I have used the 1406 before, but I am thinking the 1470 will be better, and he can open the port more to match... any problems with that?

Anyone? Also, anyone know the port dimensions of the 1470?

He's finishing my heads this weekend so I need to know asap.

You can but I wouldnt, If you lower the floor like that you will lose alot of the inherent anti-reversion these heads have in em. I havent actually done it but a few people I trust have told me to keep the "D" shape of the port. The roof is where the flow is anyway.
