Can you adjust IAC position on stock tb?

Did a search for this and couldn't find anything....
I was looking at a stock throttle body and was wondering if you could adjust the minimum air gap screw...also known as the IAC screw?
It looks like there is a plug on the backside where I thought there would be the head of the adjustment screw. Aftermarket throttle bodies have this, but the stock one I was looking at doesn't.
Can is there a plug there or something that comes out, or do I need to take some needle nose vice-grips on the threads of the screw in order to adjust it?
Or is it not even adjustable?

Cool

It works off voltage as to how far to open, etc. You need to adjust your idle using the throttle stop on the throttle linkage side. I have yet to see any that are adjustable since it is controlled by voltage readings.

Pretty sure all aftermarket tb's are adjustable. I know the stock one on my GN is adjustable.
That screw doesn't really adjust the idle. That screw is the "minimum air gap screw"...or something like that. When you crank the throttle blades open, you are allowing more air into the intake through those blades. Therefore less air needs to go through the IAC passages and IAC valve. I understand how it works...no problem there.
The car in question has quite a large cam and the IAC counts at idle are between 80-110 and I'd like to see them between 20-40. That's why I'd like to get those blades open more. Should help the slight split of the blm's at idle too.

Instead of opening the blades you can enlarge the idle air hole located between the blades. That will flow more air through the idle air passages in the manifold and should correct your split blms too.

True, but first I'd rather try get the IAC counts to where they should be.

That seems to be the most used solution, but if you need to find the accelerator stop screw...

Oh shoebox...you da man! Driver side top of the tb, right?
Is there a plug or anything that is over it?
Wonder why we couldn't get to it?

There was no plug on mine that I remember. Oh, now I remember-the gasket was over the hole!
You should be able to see the threads of the screw on the front where the accelerator arm rests on it.

Yep...gasket goes over hole and threads are easily seen.
Thank you sir, you have answered my question.
