Cool can PCM adjust for 28lb injectors?

Neartest PCM dyno tuner is hundreds of miles away. If I put 28lb injectors in a head cam lt1, woudl the pcm be able to adjust fuel mixtures, or would its program have to be adjusted.

Dont want to run rich on idle on lean on WOT

The Injector Constant in the PCM must be changed or you will run rich.

Would these be 28lb LS1 injectors by chance?

If so I asked about using them in an LT1 recently and the general consensus was it wasnt a good idea as a performance upgrade. If they are LS1 injectors I would do a search on them and see what people say.

You could, I had a friend run 30#'ers (flowed for 45 psi). Correct me if I'm wrong, arn't LS1 injectors flowed for 60 psi?

Anyway, you'll run pig rich. IMO, get the programming.

LSI injectors are rated at 58psi, LT1 injectors are rated at 43.5psi

you will definately need you PCM reprogrammed for different size injectors.

I didnt think of putting in ls1 injectors. IM running 45psi. I was hoping that 28 is close to 24 (stock), so the pcm might be able to adjust the pulsewidth accordingly.

What cam are you using? If it's something like a Hot cam or CC305, I would just install the cam and go. The stock injectors cam supply enough fuel for those cams and the ECU can handle them without programing. It will run better with programing though.

Don't install the injectors without reprograming the ECU.

your stock injectors will work just fine, no need to upgrade

I think the LS6 injectors flow the same as stock LT1 injectors when put under the LT1 pressure.
