Question Can the low coolant sensor be cleaned? With what?

I don't want to experiment on the damn sensor and blow it up for good. Will soap or alcohol or what work?

I doubt if either of those things will hurt it. The intent would be to remove any kind of "film" on it, that might be interfering with the sensor operation.
