If the part # for the coil is 12558948 then it wil work with the standard LTCC otherwise it must be specified so that the wiring will have the correct connector for the coil.

nope the coils don't have that part number. so would it be more of a hassle to try to wire these up then? what bout the delteq system- would that work for that setup?

When you order the LTCC just tell them what coils you have and they'll make the wires with the correct connector for your application so all you have to do is hook them up.
The delteq is a different system which uses only 4 coils with double posts, this is the same setup as the caddy northstar motors.

Yup, LTCC with the custom wires for those coils... The Delteq uses the Northstar engine coils... (I've got the Delteq and love it )

Re: can i use these coil packs?

The LS2 uses a diff part number for it's coils than the LS1/6. It is a smaller unit with a diff connector that makes the same energy in a smaller lighter package. You would have to ask Bob Bailey(sp) about them working on the LTCC. The Delteq is a whole other animal, that uses the waste spark coil pack from a Northstar as mentioned above. I would try to get components that have been proven to work well together such as the LTCC with the old style LS1 coils, or the Delteq. I have a Delteq also, and it gets the prize for OEM quality install. A complete kit comes w/ everything you need. No guessing, a little more money, maybe, but no guessing.
