can i use a 94-95 engine harness on a obdI converted 96?
can i use a 94-95 engine harness on a obdI converted 96?
Im gonna buy a new engine wiring harness for my car for when i pull the motor, some sensors have been put back together with tape and stupid **** like that from the previous owner. I found a painless one that says its for a 94-95 car, didnt see one for a 96-97. Any suggestions?

should work just fine... mine 96Z has a 95 computer and 96 harness but the only difference between the harnesses is the Crank sensor plug and the rear o2s i believe

Closest to your 96-97 harness would be a 95 harness. The 94, like the 93 has only one engine harness to forward lamp harness connector. Even using a 95 harness you will need to swap a couple wires around in the connectors.
96-97 cars also use a different coil and ignition module, so you will need a coil/ignition module assembly out of a 94-95 car or you will need to fit the 95 harness with 96-97 coil/ignition module connectors.
