Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Tired of pay big buck for the after market stuff and them going bad in under a year (mostly my fault)
Thinking of getting some from autozone with a life time warrenty

Re: Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Yes you can run stock plug wires with LT headers, but you are going to have to exercise more caution when routing them. You will have to use some zip ties to keep them away from the header tubes. You also might want to look into upgrading to an OTVC setup in the future. It routes the wires much better and looks alot cleaner overall.
Re: Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Whats an OTVC setup and do you have any links. I have a question about plugs as well. For a heads/cam setup with all the complimenting parts are Bosch Platinum+4 plugs alright plugs. Im basically running an LE1 setup. Thanks-Matt
Re: Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Yes you can run stock plug wires. But not over the valve cover. I dont personally like the ovtc for the way it looks....just me. I ran stock wires but i did have to use alot of zip ties.
Re: Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
Check out elitesparkplugs.com (one of the site sponsors) Hes got the OTVC wires. All different sizes and colors and they are lifetime wires. I just ordered a set yesterday. The 8mm heat shielded wires ran 69.99
Re: Can i run stock plug wires with my LT headers
already got the OVC wire setup, but it seems that i am still haveing problems getting them to last (tried MSD and Taylor wires.)
Im not burning them on the LT's but mostly the boots are arching and on the pasg side where they go behind the alternator against the block they seem to arch their alot after a few months.

lots and lots and lots of zip ties, over the top is the way to go in my opinion i burned a few of my msd's on the LT's already my zip ties got hot and broke allowing the wire to become one with my headers

Hi guys if you are burning your wires our armor coating will greatly reduce the chances of the wires burning up For the extreme cases we also carry sparkplug sleeves for extra protection
