Can I have a cam made like a CC306 but with a 110 LSA?
I currently have a CC306 in my car.. I love the power.. I want more lope though.. I have all the springs and stuff installed.. if i had a cam made just like the cc306 with a 110LSA could i use the same setup? what would i have to chage if not? What would be the Pros/Cons????
I had my XE224/230 ground on a 110 LSA when I bought it from combo motorsports and it didnt cost me a penny more than if i wanted it on a 112. Since Comp has to turn the cams out anyway... its no big deal to make small adjustments like lobe seperation.
If you want to change the LSA just for the sound at idle you can do that, but that does not mean your car will be faster. It may be slower. All depends on your supporting hardware and setup.
There are plenty of good threads you can find in a search about cam design and attributes. If you want performance, you should not be choosing a cam on the sound of the idle lope.
