I have a used K@N FIPK for my 94 that i got off a 97 my dad had at his car lot it was fine but some how it developed a bad pinch in the hard plastic ring around the end that doesnt let me have an air-tight induction. Its actually about 3/4 of an inch in maybe 1 and i cant get it out, i just know there has to be a trick to this..i hold it in the right position with a flathead screwdriver for a while and it'll stay for about a minute or two but goes back eventually..what can i do???
could i actually heat the plastic and form it...but i could ruin it...or i could just sell it to anybody willing to tackle this problem...it's perfect other than that..i'll take pretty much anything for it...has a new K@N replacement filter i replaced about 6 months ago..what do i do????keep it or does anybody want it...let me know please..thanx tony
