can a bad tranny cause knock?
hi there,
i'm trying to find my knock retard that i'm getting from my scan master. i only get knock when the transmission is engaged!!!!!! doesn't that mean its the trans?
i get code 43 once and a while, but i dont think thats it. anyways.... trans shifts great(120k) and the motor has great oil pressure and runs great? i have the LT4 KM and no exhaust leaks!!!
the transmission makes noises when i throw it into gear from park or N. u joints are okay.

I've heard of him, and corresponded via email with him in the past.
He comes pretty highly recommended around here.
If he's still doing rebuilds when I get ready for mine, he's the guy I'm going with.
I'd kinda like to get an answer to this question as well. My cars gets some pretty crazy knock retard in the upper RPMS. Usually above 4000, and it's almost always near a shift.
