I was thinking of getting a LT4 Hot cam kit $529{1.6 ratio self-guided aluminum roller rockers,valve springs and rentainers}for the SS!Do you think this would be a good move or should i go with something else? about how much HP do you think i will gain with a lt4 cam kit??

First off if you do a search you will find tons stacked upon tons of info regarding the Hot Cam & cams in general. As for the Hot Cam, it is a cam that works real well in our LT1's. It isn't the most extreme cam by any means but I am very happy with it in my application. It is perfect IMO... It all depends on what you are looking to achieve with your car.

 

Try www.gmpartsdirect.com they have it there for around $430. It's hard to say what kind of gains you'd get, you'll have to get some headers first to see it's full potential. With tuning and headers I'd say you'll see around 60rwhp(including the headers)

Them are the HP Mods I have. I believe my car is probably around 335 to the wheels now with the same mods. It was an ugly day that day & had some issues along with dynoing through my cats.
