maybe you just need a recharge. my system works perfect and is ice cold and i have a 93 lt1 with all original parts. so i guess it just varies for these cars.

I dunno, i had the reverse problem....started out warmish, then got colder over time, turned out was low on freon. had it checked for leaks with that dye and such, but no leaks or anything, just low on the freon. had it filled up and its freezing cold .

Mine worked great even when the compressor started leaking. Yet, its really nice not having the a/c in the way now.

Your charge is low and the evaporator is freezing over or your TX valve is stuck.

Checking system pressure will tell you.

My A/C works great, feels like a brand new cars A/C even here in AZ where it is 100+ degrees everday in the summer time.
