Question Camaro waterpump different from Corvette waterpump???

I was on a site today and was going to buy a waterpump since mine has 90,000 + miles on it and I have my motor apart anyways and it says that its a reverse flow LT1/LT4 waterpump for 93-97 LT1's etc. But in 2 seperate places is says "for corvette use only!" Why is that and is it true? Why would a LT1 out of a vette take a different waterpump and vice versa? I e-mailed them asking what the deal was but wanted to see everyone else input. Thanks

Myles

The Camaro pump has an extra water outlet that the Vette pump doesn't have.
