camaro SS egr question

camaro SS egr question

hey i have a 1997 camaro SS with the SLP standard SS headers and the egr hose broke. can i just block it off? i dont really care if it thows a code. just dont want it to run like ****. or should i just get a new hose and replace it?

did the hose itself break or the bolt that holds the hose to the header? by header do you mean stock exhaust manifold? I would just fix it if it is the hose itself. if its the bolt, taht requires drilling out the old bolt and tapping the hole. more reason to buy headers

the SS comes with headers... not manifolds and it was the HOSE broke inhalf

You are wrong about the SS coming with headers.If you have headers someone before you put them on.

alright well lets say i do have headers with it being a 1997 should i just replace the hose or block it off?
