Is this cam too big for street?
Is this cam too big for street?
There is a cam I want, but I'm afraid it will be too big to be streetable. Specs as follows.
236/242 @ .050; .579/.576 lift; and 108+4 LSA.
Engine will be a 350 LT1 with LE2 heads, ported intake, LT headers, true duals w/ no cats, 3.73, and 3600 stall.
I still drive this car quite a bit on the street, so I want to make sure that this cam isn't too big.

Re: Is this cam too big for street?
By streetable I still need to car to be able to sustain 60-70mph at about 2600RPM for an hour at a time and enough vacuum to stop the car. I realize the cruise will be with the convertor locked up...but I still don't want to be so far out of the powerband that my car can't hold it's own.
