Cam surge with 847?

How bad of cam surge do you guys have with this cam? Mine seems to be a bit excessive. I have 4.11s and the 847 on stock heads. Car pulls insane, but it still doesn't want to cruise at any rpm really. I have a tune from madz28 as well. I wonder if I have a burnt wire or something. When there is a small load on the engine, the "miss" goes away. But when cruising, it wants to "hesitate" or buck lightly. Any ideas? One last thing - I have a bad 02 sensor, and once the check engine light comes on, it quits bucking on cruise.

Might want to get everything else fixed and then see if it still surges. GTP-6 with p&p'd heads and intake, A4, 3.73's....not excessive IMO.

most likely due to your o2 sensor. When the ligh comes on, the pcm switches to open loop.

Holy old thread batman! Thanks for the tip though! It was indeed the o2 sensor. No cam surge at all from 1300 on up.
