XE 236/242 finished, VIDEO INSIDE!!!!!!!!!

Well, the bolt-on world has come and gone for me! I gave in to my peers, and threw in a couple new parts, including the following:

-Custom grind Comp XE cam, XE 236/242 .556/.577 112LS.
-Crane Gold 1.6 NSA rockers and Crane hardware with GM guideplates.
-Comp R lifters, spring seats, and new hardened pushrods.
-ARP 7/16" rocker studs.
-Cloyes double roller timing chain.
-CSI electric water pump, anodized red mounting plate.
-Removed EGR with block-off plates.
-Got rid of those rusty MAC headers and replaced with Jet Hot long tubes.
-Added a Holley 52mm throttle body.
-Powdercoated the intake manifold House of Kolor metallic green (looks amazing, pic does it NO justice, and topped off the top with my other 5.7 GTO badge).

And a ton of other miscellaneous parts, including a newly loaded PCMforless tune (some of the parts can be seen here. Heads will remain stock for awhile, or at least until cash permits. I started last Friday with everything and finished on Tuesday, and needless to say I am VERY pleased with the results. After a few minor bugs to work out (switched two plug wires, :cuss: ), she fired right up! The roads were pretty slick tonight, so I didn't get a chance to road test the car yet, but here's the engine running on the lift. Picture quality was sacrificed for audio and file size.

Cam Idle.

Looks like my digital camera is crapping out on me, but you get the idea.

Thanks to the West Chester crew for all their help! I'm really speechless on the way this thing sounds, and runs. It's like glass from 2500rpm to redline, and I can't wait to get it down the track.

Sounds real good man. Might need a little faster idle though.

Sound great, but you definitely need to get the idle up some.

congrats joe. Glad you fixed your problem. Car sounds like its ready to eat up any car that crosses its path lol.

Do you still think you will be able to hook up well with your DR's. and cut the same 60fts? I think you will, its all in the driver

Good luck with the new combo. Show them fools what LT1's can do once again.

with the idle that low does it die at stoplights or anything? I actually really like the low idle sound but am worried the car will die all the time...

sounds freaking great

Dammit, I went too small. Good job.

Are those pushrods strong enough. What is your spring pressure at that lift?
