cam quotes

thinking about buying cam! i was wondering how muck the rest of you have paid for the install on your lt1's? probably going to go with the hotcam or cc305, when doing this do i need convertor?

money well spent

installation pricing i dont know as i turn my own wrenches but you could expect to spend upwards of $500 easily i would think

also a converter is a good idea as the new cam will change the powerband and the idea of a stall converter is too move you into that new powerband quicker

thanks simple. yeah i am new to this cam thing. but i see that this is what pretty much everyone is doing to get some decent power out of there 350.
on the bret idea would that be a custom cam deal?

Depends on what you have.

We work on the full valvetrain package since it has to work as a system.

The cam itself is $300 for a custom ground billet core, then there are springs, rockers, pushrods, lifters etc....

i am prettty much stock, just put in the k&n cai. but if i spend money i want to feel the difference. so the springs rocker pushrods and other stuff do you put it all together then i just have to find someone to install it? laters
