Was talking with my buddy about his LS1 and he had mentioned a cam he was getting. It's a 218/220 duration, .527"/.530", 113lsa +2. My question is... what is with the +2?

That means the intake centerline (ICL) is 111. When it says +2 you actually take that number and subtract it from the LSA to get the ICL. When you advance the cam 2 degs the ICL drops 2 degs and the ECL (exhaust centerline) raises 2 degs.
