Cam or Head Swap?
I know this is a dumb question but what is the easiest to replace on the LT1 and which gives the most power? I heard a cam would do wonders but I also heard that MANY people's cars have just died after having a new cam in for a couple thousand miles. Something about the cam gears? I just want a big boost in power for the best price and something that will keep it SOMEWHAT reliable. Any suggestions?

No question is a dumb question.
Idea would be to do both heads and cam. But if you can only afford one,
then the cam would be the cheapest and net you the most gain.
Some people have spun bearings after doing a cam swap, but most do not.
You take that chance when you modifiy your car.
