Cam Choice

Its time for another round of upgrades to the TA. Iv got my suspension completed, Cold air intake, full exhaust, tune up, all that good stuff. Iv decided a cam should be go in this round. With this cam selection i dont want anything radical at all, the car is driven everday or so i like to try to. Just something nice to slap in and wake the car up a bit. I know i should change springs and what not also with the cam, whats some good chioces and prices on set up for what im looking for, anybody got any ideas.

Combination motorsports has awesome prices on everything.

www.cmotorsports.com

They sell complete cam "kits" for $589 I belive. Although, I'd try to just find the parts on the board in the for sale section. I'm going to be piecing the entire kit together for under $350. I'm going with the cc305, and its a pretty mild cam, but I'm going with the sleeper look.

You might check out the 224/230 on 112. A lot of good numbers come from that cam. It's bigger than the cc305 but way smaller than the cc306

224/230 I am very pleased with this cam. I wish I would of went bigger now that I have done some of my other mods. I drive mine every day so that will not be any kind of problem. I used MADZ28.COM For the tunning of the cam. I still have some KR issues to take care of. I will fix that this spring. Good luck with the choice's.

Your best bet is to call Cmotorsmports and ask their professional advise on what cam will best fit your needs.

I also would recommend the 224/230 XE grind for what you have, it will really wake it up.
