I just put in a impala lt1 engine into my trans am, and i decided to keep the cast iron heads, but im not sure if i should change the cam since ive herd the impys cam is milder, But its suppouse to make more lowend power. Which would give me the best performance?

 

the Impy cam isn't the right cam for our cars, I've tried it on a 94 Camaro & sure it had the TQ but the power fell off too quick, its a smaller cam both in duration & lift but its on a 111lsa I belive which makes the powerband very narrow, & with duration like that you don't want such a narrow lsa because you'll make the power within a very small RPM margin & make nothing up top.
