California Emissions Question

alright long story short

i wrecked my california z28 and i am swapping the engine over to an arizona v6...

however the arizona v6 does not have a "california emissions safe" sticker on it... I am wondering for any of you california guys if you know...
if i put my v8 in that car with all of my california emissions crap... and have a referee check it out if it will work....

because obviously if it doesn't work then i don't want to start swapping the engine.

thanks

you should be fine as long as the engine has all the smog hookups and the like for our ghetto state. dont see how a sticker on the body is going to change much.

The smog ref will know for sure. Just stop by and ask if it can be done. All I know is if your swapping a motor, the other motor must be the same year or newer.
