cali emission question

im just wondering if cut outs will pass visual tests?

if its before the cat, i think emissions would be the least of your problems, since you only have to deal with them every 2 years. You would have to deal with TONS of interior rattling

i dont think there could be more ... ive already got everything rattleing my tranny clunking when it changes when its cold, ive got a squeeling from a 2 month old drive belt

I just smogged my car with my cutout easily seen just by looking near the right rear tire. He didnt quiestion it at all. Rule of thumb, if youdont pass visual test just go somewhere else

do you have a lot of rattling?

Between 1500-2200 yes, but above that there is no rattle, just a very nice sound. It does get loud inside.
