if i have a cable for the hypertech thing. can i use that to connect my laptop to my car?

 

yea but you have to get the CONVERTER BOX and cable as seen on that page listed as the HPP Type Cable.. Basically you still use the HPP cable to plug into your connector under the dash and but you still have to have the converter box to be able to translate the signals back and forth to your computer and car...
