What would be the better choice of the to. Im going for 383 stroked lt1, ysi vortech s/c or f1, and twin intercooled.

 

When your talking methanol, are you talking a meth injection kit? Will you already be intercooled? I like the meth injection kit cause I know I have some protection on the street if I decide to get on it.

If ya are talking methanol in the tank then you are talking severely huge injectors along with the blower. Or 2 per cyl.
Ya burn at least 50%+ more alcohol than gas and ya got to have a LARGE fuel system to support it.

With alcohol in the tank look for about 20% more FWHP.
The other is just to cool the intake air with a lot of boost. IMO the alcohol injection will not give ya 20% more hp except to allow a small increase in boost and prevent detonation at that level.

Yep ya got that right.Alcohol is very forgiving and allows more of everything to produce more power. On a N/A engine ya can count on 20% more FWHP but a boost app will probably make more.
C16 Allows ya to run say 15/18lbs of boost(maybe less) without detonation IF the engine is built to TAKE that much boost.
1-Alcohol
2-C16
3-alcohol and water mix injection kit.
