A.C.Delco oil filter(Cheapest Price?)
Anybody know where I can get these, since K-mart and Wal-mart don't carry them anymore,Napa wants $5.40 a throw for these.?
(Please don't suggest the leaky frams).
Many thanks.

I think they're about $5 and change at Autozone as well. I agree with you on the Fram. I'd spend $11 on the Mobil 1 filter before I spent $1 on a Fram. For great flow and filtration, the K&N oil filter is one of the best. Not cheap, but less than the Mob1 here.
I have four vehicles that I service on a regular basis. I tend to watch the major parts store chains for advertised specials on oil and filters. I get oil by the case and only when discounted. If I can get the Delcos at a dicsount I buy several and stock them. But then if i can get Purolaters at a discount I will buy those in quantity also. As I see it don't try to buy oil and filters just before you need them. Buy them in quantities in advance at the discounted prices.
If you're looking for a good low cost oil filter, I'd recommend the Walmart Supertech over the AC Delco. It is actually an STP filter, and it's made by the same people who make the K&N.
Check out this link for a recent oil filter study, done on a bunch of filters in the PF1218 size too.
