A/C Compressor Oil Amount?
Like it says, Anyone know how much oil goes in after a new compressor and receiver is installed and all the line were purged? I didn't capture all the oil that came out so i need to know.

I got a new compressor in the past that was pre-oiled. There should be a yellow or an orange tag that has instructions for you if it is pre-oiled. If yours is not pre-oiled I'd just call a mechanic tomorow and ask.

This is what I have been told... the system holds 8oz. of oil. add 2oz. for each item replaced. Compressor, Dryer, Condensor, Evaporator = 8oz.
Since you are replacing 2 items it should be around 4oz.
