Buying some sfc's does brand name matter?

Im buying some sub-frame connectors this week but don't know which ones to get. Theirs so many different brands out thier does it really matter which one to get. I have a 1995 firebird formula t-top 6spd. I've seen hotchkis, bmr, kenny brown, dms, global west which brand is the best or all of them the same?

DMS is doing a gp special right now for this price:

1) Springs
2) SFCs
3) LCAs
4) STB
5) LCA Brackets
6) Panhard (add $25 for adj).

PRICE = $599 + shipping

Has anyone used any of there products other than there lower springs? I basically want a balanced car. One with power and control in the twisties. I know later on down the road i probably will have traction problems so i want to do some suspension work now.

I know this question has probably been asked millions of times i apologize for that (I will use the search button later on to get some more ideas on what i should do).

thanks

however for just the SFC, i liked the Kenny Brown DD SFC. just seemed my durable and i wanted them. they are one of the more expensive ones, but i figure if your gonna do it, mind as well do it right ya know?

DMS has great stuff, I have compared all of my stuff with BMR and its just is good or better. I bought that same package last summer and have not regretted it yet. Car sits prefect with the springs too. There are pics of my formula on my website.

Cool

another vote for Kenny Brown DD SFC's if you are just going to do them. the rest of my suspension is BMR but i have Kenny Brown for my SFC. definately a quality part, you will pay more for them like Cheese said but worth it. check out www.tbyrnemotorsports.com they have a 10% off sale going on until the end of the day today. lata

If you are going to do autocrossing then I would go with a SLP Diamond Stlye SFC. If not then I would with BMR.

No worries there..there's absolutely nothing wrong with our stuff. I have seen, used, etc all of suspension parts from other companies. When we had our parts made..we didn't leave out any details.

So for the gp, we have to buy all 5 as one package or can it be just one. My car has mad body-rolls feel like I have to get a completely new suspension package but only want a few things here and there.

I just installed a set of bmr tubular SFC's last night on my car and the fit and quality was excellent. I got mine on a GP for 125 so the price was great. If i ever buy anymore suspension or chassis mods i am going BMR. I also have never heard a complaint about them on the board yet.

Smile

thanks for the fast reply! Those kenny brown dd sfc's were getting excellent reviews from everyone so i decided to get them their a little more expensive than bmr and dms parts but i think it will be worth it in the long run.

The shop that quoted $100 my buddy recommended me to them.
The shop is called:

Granatelli Performance Products (the guy's name is Joe Granatelli)

I thought that price was a little high. I don't know anymore shops in california that do installs on our cars. I'll do a search or i'll probably email a few people on here who live near to me. I would rather pay less so its worth trying.

thanks

It does sound a bit pricey, but if they've got a good rep, I'd spend the $$.
