well i totalled the Z and now im looking at a 95 trans am, red with t-tops, automatic, grey leather interior, new tires, 60k miles, cd player and he had the front repainted (it started to fade) i carfaxed it and everything checked out but he has minor mods, K&N cold air kit, airfoil, flowmaster muffler and no cat he said, he'll take 8 grand, what do you guys think?

 

What type of driving habits did the prev. owner have? I am always a little weary of buying a car from someone who drives like me . And you know...people who mod their cars tend to drive like me.

Just a thought. Otherwise it seems like a good ride, and a fellow '95 trans am-er like myself would love to have another buddy on the forum.

 

Well it has low miles,take it for a long drive and see what you think.You have the advantage of owning a 4th gen so you know what to look for and always try to beat them down on the price

 

another another quick question, as soon as i get it i wanna put chrome 18 9nch z06 rims on it, will this hurt performance pretty bad? also does anyone have pictures of this possibly on a red lt1 trans am?

 

you might get less traction w/those wheels, but not TOO much diff.
