Burnt spark plugs

Changed the spark plugs when I did my long tunes both sides were good and tan but the passenger side plugs were all burned pretty bad on the ceramic in between the boot and the plug nut(don't know what you would call it) what would cause that?

Re: Burnt spark plugs

Sounds like you had arcing between the plug boot and the head (ground). I'd use some dielectric grease on the plug boots or replace the wires if they are old. You can see arcing with the engine running in the dark.

Re: Burnt spark plugs

I replaced the wires when I did the lt install I was just wondering if there was something I had to worry about. Why would all of the passenger side arc but none of the drivers side?
