well, the time has come to start my tear down and start fixing things on my 93 Z28. All this started because an exhaust manifold bolt broke off in my drivers side head. I'm parking the car in the back and taking off everything from the heads up. I'm sending my intake, heads, and throttle body to get ported and polished by my friend as well as a CC306 cam, 1.6rr's, LT4 Timing chain, 95 Opti conversion, Headers, and 3.73 gears. Is that pretty good to start with? What else do ya'll think would be good to go along with all that?

 

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Have a machine shop check the heads for warpage just incase.

 

Oh, I forgot. I'm also going to have the fuel aspect covered by getting some 24lb/hr SVO Injectors and a fuel regulator. Any specific type ya'll recommend?

 

I'd go with a 30 #/hr injector and leave the stock regulator alone.

 

I hope all your bearings are in good shape. If you have a lot of miles, could be risky.

 

I've only got 64k miles on it. So I'm pretty sure I'm safe!
