Dont know why GM made the cap bolts out of such a soft metal but anyways. I broke one of the 4 bolts in the opti (the top one that is easy to get to), and im wondering where, if anywhere, i could buy an extractor small enough to get that bolt out? I would think that a machine shop could do it for pretty cheap, but right now most of them will be closed until monday, so im trying to explore my options. Anyone else have this happen to them?

 

Did the head break off and what is left is plush with the plastic?

 

the bolt broke about 7 threads up. So, i have a broken bolt with about 3 threads on it if you follow me.
