So I broke a rocker stud ( less than 5000 miles on it ). How much damage do you guys think I should be looking for. So far rocker, and push rod look great. Should I do a full tear down, or just put it back together hope for the best and tear it down in the Winter. Anyone have an extra newer rocker stud standard stock size ???

 

If you are using the comp cam pro mag rockers just get the longer studs from arp and problem solved.

 

A very simple compression test in that cylinder will tell you if there are any problems. I'd say in your case, a broken stud probably didn't hurt anything at all other than the stud and pushrod. Roll it on glass and see if it wobbles at all.
