My car is my daily driver and today, when taking off from a roll about 5mph, my torque arm snapped at the axle. Only about an inch of it still hanging on. About how much am I looking at from a junkyard for a used stock torque arm? I am stranded until I can find another one. Aren't the stock torque arms supposed to hold up to more than the stock motor?

 

there is one on ebay right now, I think it is pretty cheap, just do a search for torque arm, and it is kinda near the bottom. I do have a question though, when the torque arm broke, did it lathe the driveshaft in two? See, I ask because I broke the bracket at the axle of my aftermarket torq arm, and it cut my driveshaft into two nice pieces! Then I was told that it broke because I installed it wrong!!

 

You should be able to find a stock TA pretty cheap. I would have given you mine, but I threw it away when I upgraded to the MAC. Sorry.

 

If anything check the forsale section, there should be a couple in there.
