broke 2 push rods and a lifter

I broke 2 stock push rods (thought 95 had hardened?) and a comp r lifter (big suprise right). Any way I plan to drain the oil and replace all the rods and lifters this weekend. I was thinking comp hi-tech 7.2 push rods but really have no idea for a lifter to run with the mods in my sig. Any help?

oem style replacement lifters from comp would do the trick. even the summit branded ones would be fine.

will the oem style take high rpm's? I have been taking this motor up to 7000 or higher. I havent had the chance to put in the 3.73's yet but with 2.72's and a high rpm you can stay in second gear through the 1/4

Well, if your budget allows, Morel lifters are the best $ can buy.

Re: broke 2 push rods and a lifter

do you have part #'s for the oem style and the morels? Am I right for the push rod choice?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to have the motor back up and running this weekend, and want to do it right.

Morels will require a shorter pushrod, what you need is a morel lifter, and a pushrod length checker and figure out what size is needed, I have morels, with LT4 head gaskets and the heads have been decked once... came out to 7.000" Comp cam Hi Tec pushrods

who carries morels, and how much do they cost. I dont want to put a junk motor together but if comp oem's will wrk fine and the morels are 10 times the cost its going to be hard to justify to my budget.

Bret Bauer has them in stock, or I know thunder racing carries them, but bret is cheaper.

I got my Morel drop in styles from Victory Racing. They were $500. Not in stock either... had to wait a week or so. If you want 7.2 Comp Hi-Tech pushrods... I have some. I need shorter ones due to the Morel lifters. If I can help let me know.
