breaking up over 5k....

So I still have a problem some times over 5k the car breaks up really bad. I have an MSD coil, ICM cooling mod and running on 93 octane. Still on stock plugs and wires with almost 55k on them. I did a little investigating and heres what I found. Anyone know if this would be the cause of my problem? Thats the coil wire if anyone is wondering.

Ummmmmm, yeah. I would replace the coil and the coil wire and see what happens. I bet that fixes it right up. Make sure you use plenty of dielectric grease on the wire ends to help prevent this in the future.

I'd suggest you replace all the spark plugs wires. The GM wire set, that includes the coil wire works fine. You can also get a set of aftermarket wires like the Accel 9000's.

Well the thing is, I have some Hooker LT's that I am going to be installing in a couple of weeks and was planning on doing an OVTC wire set from elitesparkplugs, but it seems they are having there fair share of issues...
