I get my car back tommorro or Thursday and was wondering if their is a break in period........

 

I haven't had to change head gaskets, but I didn't give my intake gaskets a break in period. You might want to take it easy for about 24 hours, just long enough to let the RTV fully cure. Other than that, no break-in. Its never a bad idea to take it easy for a few miles and just run the car though all its operating ranges anytime you do something new.

 

People recommend re-tightening the head and intake bolts after a few heat cycles. But nothing with the gaskets.
