Question Brakes/rotor need replacing...advice?

I was quoted $480 for brake work for my 94 v6, and my dad and i are looking to do the work ourselves. the car significantly favors left whenever i apply the brake. The guy said we need new rotors and pads, does anyone have advice on installation? thanks

we have this same problem with our '69 GTO, but we've lived with it because we dont really take it out often.

youve got drums in the back on that year.. almost positive.
Changing rotors and pads are very very easy.
If its pulling to one side... then a caliper isnt clamping down all the way.
if the car dips to one side/ kinda locks up then your springs in the drums on the back are bad.
drums are harder to do than discs. Discs are cake.
Autozone has decent stuff for a low price.
