bought C.A.G.S but "skip shift" light still comes on... WTF??? it did not do this until i installed my Hypertech ppIII. any suggestions?

A CAGS eliminator does not eliminate the light. Only the operation. So the CAGS light will still show, but the transmission will allow you to shift normally.
My guess is that your PCM might have been custom tuned before and CAGS was disabled from the PCM and when you installed the Hypertech, it overwrote the custom tune.
Brent Franker has a tutorial on how to disable the light manually.
