Botched up threads about misfiring…[logistical rant]

It happens every time. Someone posts about a miss and then a bunch off other shmuks come in with the “I have the same problem” bullsh*t and start listing a bunch of symptoms that the original guy didn’t have. What you end up with is a bunch of guys with totally different problems getting frustrated and taking shots in the dark.

Listen people. There are MANY different ways for your car to run rough. Sometimes it isn't a miss at all.

I am sick of this "I have the same exact problem…but" crap. Do NOT say you have the same problem unless you KNOW you have the SAME PROBLEM!!.

Some of you guys are ruining perfectly good threads.

What RPM is the miss at?
Does it do it in neutral?
at idle?
Does it miss under load?
Does it go away if you give it gas?
Does it get worse if you give it gas?
Does it get worse as the car heats up?
Does it get worse in the rain or when humid?
Did you look at your engine in the dark to look for sparks?
Did the problem start all of a sudden or over time?
What modifications does your car have?
When is the last time you changed your plugs? Wires? Opti? Water pump? Coil? Fuel filter? Air Filter?
Did you check your fuel pressure?

You should know the answer to most, if not all, of these question before you post.

Work together, be logical, and most importantly, be excellent to each other.
