Does that y pipe hook up to facotry manifolds? anyone know any info on this y pipe?

 

Yes, it willl bolt up to the factory manifolds. I had this this setup on my 1995 before I got LT's. In fact, I still have the combo and would like to sell it (PM me if interested). I have the Borla y-pipe and a high flow Morflo cat. There was a gain over the stock y-pipe and the sound was awesome.

I PM'ed both of you..... ddj19852003 has dibs on the y-pipe unless I get a better offer . It is a NICE y-pipe, makes the factory setup look really "wimpy".

Really on stock Manifolds? are you running this pipe? What cat-back, im sure Borla ypipe/catback should sound mean with stock manifolds!!!

 

I'm running a Borla catback with stock manifolds right now and it sounds great, but I'll be dumping part of it when I get my Jet-Hot LT's installed.

 

I have the borla catback aswell, but im wondering how the Borla Ypipe/Catback sounds on stock manifolds

Also how does the Borla Y pipe compare to SLP's Y pipe...?

 

I've got the Borla y-pipe running through an off-road pipe and a Flowmaster. It's kinda loud...

 

Will this catback work on BBK Headers?

I don't think it will... in fact, I'm pretty sure it won't unless your BBK's end in the same location as stock manifolds.

 

I've got the Borla Y-pipe on stock manifolds...new cat, and flowmaster...very happy.

 

Did you have the flowmaster on before the Borla Y-Pipe at one point, Just wondering how much louder your car got with the Borla Y Pipe on.

My 93 had 1.6 RRs, New LT4 HOTCAM valve springs, Moroso CAI, ported stock TB with air foil, and a hooker catback. It gained 8 rwhp putting this y pipe on and going !cat. It sounded great too. I loved it.
