i have jet hot lt's w/ borla, and mine is real raspy, but i knew it would sound like that when i got them. everyone tells me its one of the best sounding ones around here. i personally don't like the sound 2500-3500 under MILD acceleration, its real poppy,,but full throttle, it sounds bad ***.

I'd agree, that car sounds like our old boat out of water.

Just letting people know who are in the market for exhaust system- don't ever buy borla exhaust if you are planning to put long tube headers without cats, sound is just horible, regardless of how you adjust the pressure plates. Since I have an electric cutout, I tried every combination, no luck. At 2000-3000 rpm's car has back popping if I let of gas, and has horible- high piched shrieking, nothing close like a muscle car should sound.

I will try putting a cone and a bullet muffler, just to see if some claims made by some board members are true. Yes I will do both since I already have a bullet mufler from my dual exhaust and I have a welder.

Exactly why i sold my Loudmouth and went true duals. There a little louder than i want but i enjoy being able to stand beside my car when someone drives it away and feel my chest rumble. No catback i have ever had could do that.

It sounds good at full throttle but revving it up is where my Loudmouth/HookerLT's didnt sound good. It was way too raspy and had a god aweful sound like right when you took it out of gear during shifting. So when the rpms dropped real fast from gear changing goin at a normal speed it had the ugliest sound ever. I do say though at WOT my loudmouth/hookers reminded me of a x-pipe true dual setup but not quiet as loud. When i rev up now it actually rumbles rather that get raspy and high pitched.

I warn people that it totally changes the sound. IMO, I think it sounds like *** and like a tractor with stock manifolds, with or without a cat.

I turns it more into a high pitched screamer. Don't like it, switch cat-backs or keep stock manifolds.

I can't believe my eyes

I love the sound of my car with Longtubes and Borla and NO Cat.

It was raspy with NO plate in it, but I made a smaller plate for it and it sounds beautiful! Best sound ever!

The Corsa exhaust is Restrictive! Borla
