bore or lt4 manifold

bore or lt4 manifold

is the lt4 intake manifold worth getting or is it better to bore the stock one and would i get a decent power increase.

I would say no. If you get the LT4 intake, you have to get the LT4 heads. Just port your existing heads.

Unless you're changing to LT4 heads, just port the LT1 manifold and have it powdercoated red. The LT4 intake doesn't fit LT1 heads. Hope this helps!

Not unless you port the heads. LT1 manifold flows about all the stock LT1 head can handle.

I just saw an LT4 manifold that was ported to minimize the "ski jump" because it was fitted to high flowing, tall-port heads. It was not a low-budget mod. The bill for the Tig welding rod alone would buy a lot of beer.

how much would the cost be around to port the heads and intake manifold?

I was told the LT4 stuff will make a better platform for future modding.
