When I get back home this summer I'm going to get some weld-on SFC's. I remember reading something about weld-ons being better, not sure if that's true.

I would rather have the weight and inertia of my car flexing placed on strong welds rather than a pair of bolts. If cost is an issue, you can bolt them in now and weld later down the road.

I've got bolt-on's

I like them...

Plus I didnt have to spend another 40-60 to get them installed...

BUT if I still want the added strength I could have my bolt-on's Welded as well ...

But for the price I got the bolt-in's I couldnt refuse...

The bolt-ons are normally more expensive since they require extra equipment and different product. Many people, Including myself, Will say without a doubt that weld-ins are stronger and are more efficient. My vote is for weld-ins, Spend the 20-40 bucks and get them welded in and never worry about it. But for some reason if you need to pull them off, You may consider bolt-ons!
