Gaining 32rwhp from the listed mods seems a bit over realistic, but the only way to find out is to just do it and post results. If I was to make a guess, I'd say ~320rwhp. Good luck and keep us updated.

I thought having an overly large TB hurt low end torque.

as far as throttle body, remember, you want velocity, not volume. If you have a way to have both, great, but in an otherwise stock car, your gonna have one or the other, and you want the velocity.

Will the 52mm tb even help in a bolt on application? Would love to see before/after dyno results on a stock - bolt on car.

If this makes sense then I guess I should go and put a 1050 Dominator on my lil stock 305 in my garage.

that would be air and fuel, not even close. i have always been told a 58 wont help if you dont need but it wont hurt, and i would like to read otherwise

do you have any usefull information or just that stupid comment that does not even make sense

Yes it is air and fuel......but you can adjust jets just like injector sizes. I'll put jets out of a 600dp (lets say 72's in the front, 76 in back) in the Dominator and it should be just fine, make sense? No it doesnt.

In any case then if it wont hurt, why stop at a 588mm? Put a mono blade on it.

Go look at what size TB comes on the Ram jet 502.

Im not trying to get into an argument but I tend to think about it like this, I wont replace my throttle body untill I believe it has become a limiting factor.......I dont have ~380+rwhp so why spend the $300 on it?

and i still stand by that being a load of bull, i am not saying your going to gain more over a 52 but it is not going to hurt and you sure are not going to lose power going from a 52 to a 58, and if later down the road you upgrade further you wont need to purchase a larger TB

i am sorry i was not more specific for you, i guess i just figured reading the thread you would realize that we were talking about a 58, but there always has to be that one guy....

man how many times do i have to post that i did back to back runs and picked up 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile with that mod only...not to mention 1.5mph....
ls1 guys make ducts from the foglite holes to the lid and have picked up another 3 tenths and 3 mph with thtat added to it...you rock your lt1 cold air if you think that long intake with 2 bends and a crimped area by the abs block...ill do my short straight ls1 lid

why does lloyd reccomend a ls1 lid setup then?
